Simple living, practical systems, growing food, and slower travel.
Grounded Roamer is where I document a simpler way of living — growing food, making things by hand, simplifying home, travelling a bit lighter, and learning as I go.
Why this site exists
I started Grounded Roamer partly to share my story for my kids in case anything ever happened to me, and partly to document my own journey toward a more self-sustained retirement.
It is a record of what I am learning, what I am trying, and the kind of life I want to build over time.

About Grounded Roamer
After my second marriage, I found myself wanting something different — less clutter, less noise, less drama, and less of the pressure that comes from always doing more and buying more. Grounded Roamer is my way of documenting the move toward something simpler, steadier, and more useful.
